Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Large deep golden yellow blooms, fading toward white at the edges, are backed with pink stripes. The lightly and sweetly scented blooms are borne throughout summer on this easily grown tropical tree. The large tropical foliage gives it a palm-like look making it a great addition around a pool. Easily grown in a patio pot, needs a fast draining soil. In colder climates, let it go dry in fall and store in a garage or other area where temperatures remain above freezing. Pull it out in the spring and start watering it and it will grow and bloom again.
