Compact, dense deciduous shrub that will please the most OCD neatnik! Nice rounded form 2-3’tall and 3-4’wide with narrow foliage that colors to a nice burgundy in autumn. Small white flowers literally cover this shrub April May! Easy in moist, prefers humus enriched soil but tolerates clay, sun to part shade. Lends a formal note to front of border, woodland edge, rock garden, slope. Maintenance free.
Softly textured yellow foliage adorns the arching branches of this mounding low deciduous shrub. White starry flowers cover the plant in early spring as the new foliage is emerging. An excellent choice for long lasting foliage color in the perennial or shrub border. The propagation of, and or sale of plant parts is prohibited without a license. Patent/Trademark tag required. Pearl-like buds open to star-shaped fragrant flowers. Bright lime-yellow foliage, deciduous, Zones 5-8.
a.k.a. Deutzia gracilis 'Duncan'. It's all about the foliage. Lemon-lime elliptical leaves with gently serrated edges are accented by cascading branches of white pearl budded blossoms that burst open with fragrance in May. A small shrub that is at home in the perennial border. 2 -3'.
A lovely accent shrub for contrast in the border with its beautiful, scorch resistant, lime green foliage that retains its color all summer. Shining pearl-like buds sit amongst and above the foliage then burst into pretty white blossoms in May and June. In hot summer areas give it some afternoon shade.
