    Tecoma capensis 'Aurea' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen shrub or vine with green foliage. In summer yellow flowers emerge. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and even moisture water. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in clay, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant and seaside / salt tolerant.

    A beautiful clear yellow Cape Honeysuckle that produces masses of 2" tubular flowers in large clusters in summer. This easy heat and sun loving tropical can be grown as a medium to large arching shrub or is easily trained into tree forms or to trellises. An excellent choice for Hummingbirds and butterflies. Where not hardy grow it in a container. Larger growing in mild winter climates or where its protected from hard freezes.
