This plant is adaptable, beautiful and flowers year-round in low light. Rose-colored cones emerge on the growing tips and expand until brilliant purple flowers appear among the colorful bracts. The dark green leaves are accented by silver highlights. Better yet, it acheives only a modest height which allows you to put it in almost any window, on a plant stand or table.
Porphyrocoma pohliana, a mounding plant with glossy, lance-shaped leaves, silvery cream midrib, yellow veins. Reddish-purple shrimp-like flowers. Sometimes called the Purple Pine Cone.
A low growing evergreen perennial which seems to bloom continuously throughout the year. Purplish tubes arch from the 3-4" tall rose-purple pinecone-like bracts. Easy care and low maintenance. Item# 628.
