Epiphyllum anguliger is a night-blooming, epiphytic Cactus displaying long, flat, fleshy stems growing in a zig-zag shape. Features large, sweetly fragrant, white starry flowers. Fishbone Cactus is a great hanging basket plant for bright indirect light. Best grown in a light, aerated, peat based potting soil. Thoroughly water and allow to dry slightly between sessions. During the growing season, provide monthly, light feedings. This winter dormant plant should be protected from frost.
An Orchid Cactus with many virtues: unique foliage, free-blooming, and evening fragrance. The leaves, comprised of a series of deeply cut lobes create a saw-like tooth effect giving it the common name Ric Rac Cactus. Flowers arrive effortlessly from late summer through fall, and best of all, it's one species that doesn't need a winter chill to flower. The pure white 3" blooms, backed by orange-bronze sepals and petals, open over many weeks. It makes an excellent subject for hanging containers.
The notched stems of this 'Night Blooming' Orchid Cactus give it's unusual name. The deep green arching stems produce 3-4" wide fragrant white to cream colored blooms from spring to summer. Very easy to grow and great for hanging baskets.
