Originally sold to us as Petite Pink, this Oleander has proven to be a different cultivar which has now been officially registered with the International Oleander Society by Rod Prejean as Mrs. Bonnie McMillian. We are happy to be one of the only people in the US to offer this variety named after one of our very own! It has excellent cold hardiness and is a medium sized Oleander when mature reaching 8-10' high and wide and produces clusters of soft pink 1" flowers throughout summer.The mother plant has been growing and flowering in zone 8B (DeRidder, Louisiana) for about ten years with little to no cold damage even after the extreme winters of 2010-11. It has a naturally rounded and compact habit and will mature to a medium-sized plant. We owe Rod a big thank you for honoring our dear Bonnie so uniquely!
