Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Reddish-purple, highly fragrant, pea-like blooms in 8" grape-like clusters on an evergreen to semi-evergreen, or deciduous (depending on how cold it gets), woody, twining climber. Non-invasive, unlike the common Chinese Wisteria. With age it may bloom continuously throughout summer and into fall. Will need a strong long-lasting support in its permanent home. Reportedly returned after 14 degrees in Tucson, Az. !!
