Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Fragrant, dark orange-yellow-purple trumpet flowers in May - June are a hummingbird'sdelight; pod-like seed capsules follow. Semi-evergreen, its compound leaves turn also purplish-red in fall. It's tolerant of shade but blooms best in full sun. 15 - 20 ft tall, 6 - 9 ft wide, it clings by tendrils with adhesive discs. Vigorous and glorious. Minimum temperature: -20°F
Crossvine is a beautiful semi-evergreen or evergreen, self-clinging vine that will scramble up a trellis or any other support quickly and easily. It is hardy and relatively pest free. This is a rarely offered selection with red flowers with hints of orange. The dark, dusky foliage is beautiful, too! Prune as desired. Repeat Bloomer.
A show stopper! Produces a huge mass of 2" brick-red trumpets with darker throats in late spring with some blooms throughout summer. A vigorous and disease free southern native.
