This bellwort forms clumps, of erect 2' tall stems with twisted, bright green leaves, and features pendulous, bell-shaped, pale yellow flowers.
Like a demure Uvularia grandiflora, it is easily recognized by its dwarfer stature, curious skewered foliage which is glabrous-glaucous both top and bottom, and pale yellow usually solitary nodding flowers that are only 3.5cm in length.
Blooms: pendent, creamy yellow/ deciduous, blue-green leaves. Spreading rhizome. Zone 4-8. 6"-10", Eastern NA, shade, moist, humus rich
