Persicaria sp. Kunming is a broadleaf deciduous perennial groundcover with burgundy, chartreuse, chocolate, green, red and variegated foliage. In fall and summer white flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - occasional water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil.
Among the most fascinating and colorful leaves of all the Persicarias: maroon and purple chevrons within alight green, and with a purple edge. With more sun, the color will be deeper. Light shade may yield the best color. Put it in a pot and experiment!
