    Calochortus tolmiei is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In spring and summer lavender and white flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - low water. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in well-drained soil.

In late spring and early summer foliage is followed by extremely fuzzy, white or pale pink flowers. Ample winter rainfall with sparse summer irrigation is best. Low growing to 4 in. Little blossoming size bulbs.
