Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Nyssa sylvatica 'Sheri's Cloud' is a lovely variegated form of Black Tupelo, with cream and white coloring in summer turning to pink and red in autumn. Found in a roadside ditch in Arkansas by Jeff Flanagan and named after his wife. Wet site tolerant.
Black Gum. Probably a smaller tree. Full sun or light shade, especially in warmer climate, morning sun would be enough. Moist but well-drained acid soil. Prefers a site sheltered from the wind. Zones 3-9 for the species, not sure if this one is quite as tolerant.
