This unique Lamb's Ear yields golden flanneled leaves that will enhance your garden with a cozy glow in light shade. Pulmonaria 'Benediction' and Geranium phaem 'Walk
A clumping, evergreen, perennial ground cover. The dense clumps of intensely silver to lime leaves, turning pale yellow in winter and spring, can reach over one metre across in time. An ideal edging for lawns or paths. Prefers a well drained soil and is tolerant of dry spells, great for inland areas. The insignificant flowers can be removed if preferred. DO NOT MULCH TOO CLOSELY to this plant.

Velvety leaves emerge bright gold in spring, shifting to chartreuse, then fading to light green in summer, finally becoming gray late in the season. Light magenta flowers appear sporadically in summer, reaching 16" high. Best in full sun but may require shade in the warmer inland climates of California. We have used the interesting foliage color to border paths through the woodland sections of our garden. Hardy to 0F. Garden origin.
