Zn 4. Carmel colored leaves,reddish-pink in summer
Heuchera 'Kassandra' is somewhat similar to 'Caramel' but is larger and more vigorous. Leaves are slightly more ruffled but start the season as the same amber color. As the season progresses, the leaves lighten to more of a yellow-green tone. In fall the leaves turn a beautiful burgundy color. This is an under-used variety that I don't usually see in gardens or for sale.
This one has a lot of interesting leaf changes throughout the growing season. It emerges caramel to orange in the spring and is maroon to reddish pink by the end of the season. White flowers. Zone 4-9.
