Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Freckles' is a good description of the irregular purple dots which decorate the large white-to-pale-blue violets on their long nodding stems; a slowly spreading plant whose flowers will always bring a smile! PSh/M
On a pale bluish/purple background, are dark pale/bluish "freckles", that's the most appropriate way to describe them! A very vigorous plant that will self seed around happily and come 100% true from seed. Plants do well just about anywhere and are 6-12" tall.
This is a striking and unusual violet. The numerous flowers are white but are heavily freckled with dark violet-blue dots. Very cute. Very cool.
Viola sororia is that little violet native to most of the Eastern US that likes to weed around in lawns and everywhere else. This one has white flowers little splattered with spots and splashes of purple.Tough and easy, to the point of weediness. Zone 3
