Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Large leaves divided into three leaflets, and green aroid flowers that aren't exactly showy but interesting and perhaps even beautiful on closer inspection. Supposed to not be weedy the way P. ternata is. Hasn't been so far for us. Zone 5
A tuberous, clumping perennial, hailing from central China. The large, tropical looking, 3 segmented leaves, held on long stalks, arise from round, hairy tubers and die back in winter. An incredibly tough plant surviving both dark shade and short periods of extreme dryness. It loves the heat, the leaves growing up to 10cm a day in hot weather (30c +). I find best growth is achieved in a pot, possibly due to the warmer conditions. Feed well for ultimate luxuriance.

Jack-in-the-pulpit a bit different; out of a light green spathe protrudes a 10"(!) long yellow-green spadix (tongue). Beautiful three lobed foliage has waved edges. Doesn't go summer dormant but blooms until frost! Clumps up easily.
Three part leaves and a hooded spathe with an extremely long spadice, reminiscent of a jack in the pulpit to which it is related. About a foot tall. Zones 6-9
