Nursery contributed plant descriptions

"Shuttleworth's Ginger" is an East Coast species with variable, roundish sometimes cordate foliage, beautifully-marbled with silver veining. In early Spring its center is filled with unique, darkly marbled cup like flowers.
Another native ginger with beautiful glossy heart-shaped leaves often mottled and veined with silver, this is the plant that circulates in the trade as shuttleworth, reasonably large but variable flowers and a distinctly running habit, an excellent plant but slow to establish in the garden. ZONE 5
Medium to large rounded leaves with with pointy tips and heavy silver markings. Low to the ground and slowly spreading to make a nice clump over time.
