    Iris pseudacorus is a fast-growing broadleaf evergreen perennial bulb / corm / tuber with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

    This elegant iris grows along the water's edge or in water logged soil but also does well in normal gardens. It has stately upright foliage and lovely spikes of yellow flowers. This is a Eurasian species which has become naturalized in some areas of BC so be careful with it if you live near natural areas. It can spread by rhizome or seed.
