Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The foliage of this beautiful 1-2' clump forming perennial is glistening-green above and prettily red-tinted beneath. The lush leaves are a lovely background for its summer-into-fall sprays of delicate white flowers. The blossoms hang from red stems and feature bright-yellow centers. This is truly an exquisite plant for the shade garden or container. PSh-S/M
Zn 6. Clumping perennial. White flowers. Shade.
Yes indeed, it is a hardy Begonia. Hardy to zone 6 if you plant it in the ground although it won't be happy with you if you let it freeze it in its pot though. Good soil that retains moisture in shade to filtered light and everyone will be happy. Dormant in winter and coming back from tubers in early summer. Nice white flowers on this form and are held on stems that can reach 28" tall in favored conditions.
White flowers.
