Hosta ‘City Lights’ features thick, corrugated leaves that emerge chartreuse in spring, and brighten to brilliant gold. Displays short scapes of near white to pale lavender flowers. Hostas, also called Plantain Lilies grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils. A good partner for ferns. Although the flowers are attractive, Hostas are usually grown for their ornamental foliage.
Bright golden yellow accent the supersized leaves which are slightly cupped and corrugated. Does best with some sun to bring out the gold.
Large. Very bright luminescent gold leaves, intensely corrugated. Great substance. Attractive white flowers.
