Epimedium 'Kaguya Hime' is a broadleaf evergreen perennial groundcover with green foliage. In spring pink and purple flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with bright shade - shade and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, clay, rich, rocky and well-drained soil.

Spring sprays of wonderful burgundy and pink flowers float above 12” mounds of plum-mottled evergreen leaves on this E. acuminatum x E. dolichostemon hybrid created by chance in Japan. This is fairly vigorous and easy to grow in bright shade. We feel this baby has the most desirable coloring of any of the Epi varieties on the new growth. Flowers are beautiful… but the foliage is divine!
A chance hybrid between acuminatum and dolichostemon that occurred in Yamaguchi's garden in Japan with large pink and purple flowers and perhaps the best foliage of any Epimedium we grow. ZONE 4
A hybrid between E.acuminatum and E. dolichostemon, with evergreen foliage that is mottled maroon in spring. Sprays of mid-sized flowers with pale pink sepals and purple-red spurs. Clumping.
Blooms: spring, sprays of dark purple and rose-pink sepals. Evergreen mottled new growth, long slender, medium size leaflets. Zone 5-8, 18", Japan, part shade, moist, humus rich soil.
E.acuminatum x E. dolichostemon- Long, slender, arrow-shaped leaflets are jagged edged & beautifully mottled w/ shades of red & green in spring. 15"-18" stems w/ sprays of dark, reddish purple spurs & rose pink inner sepals. Height 14". Evergreen.
