A newer introduction (2001) from Darrell Probst, a cross between E. sempervirens and E. grandiflorum. The leaves emerge in rose tones, turn green with purple edges at bloom time and finally settle to a deep green. The large, numerous flowers are as lavender as it gets in Epimedium, less pink than any others we have around. Clumping and semi-evergreen.
