Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Geranium phaeum 'Lily Lovell' is a lovely, long blooming, upright cranesbill with lavender purple flowers. It is useful in part shade to full sun and provides a more vertical rather than mounding habit. Shear back or deadhead to encourage repeat bloom. Popular with bees. May self-seed lightly around the garden but easy to pull out if it pops up where you don't want it.
Blooms in remarkably pure violet, very unusual for this group. The flower size of over 1" is also above average. The clump of light green foliage sets the flowers off well. Tolerates dry shade.
