Small tree, to 20', or large shrub, to 12', easily trimmed as a handsome hedge. Evergreen leaves are small, crinkly, and dark green; greenish white flowers also small, and produce black berries adding texture. Full sun with very little summer water. Frost hardy to 5 °F, USDA zone 7b.
