Pelargonium 'The Boar' is a broadleaf evergreen perennial with chocolate and green foliage. In fall, spring, summer and winter coral, orange and salmon flowers emerge. Attracts hummingbirds. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - occasional water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

A handsome zonal geranium, from our friend Susan Harris, with salmon-edging-on coral flowers, and scented deep green rounded leaves, each with a deep dark center. Vigorous to to about 18” and free flowering. Full sun to afternoon shade for best color with regular summer water and rich soil. Where winter temperatures are too low, take cuttings to overwinter or keep in indoors in the brightest light. Frost hardy in USDA zone 9.
