Tiarella trifoliata is a broadleaf deciduous or semi-evergreen perennial groundcover with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge. Features fuzzy texture. Attracts bees and beneficial insects making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - shade and even moisture - occasional water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil.

Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A lovey Western native in the saxifrage family, that can be found growing in moist, shaded woodlands, and along stream banks. Sprays of delicate, white flowers bloom on slightly hairy, leafy stems from June through August. Leaves are 1-5 inches across, slightly hairy, lobed and sharply toothed. They do grow from rhizomes, but move slowly. They are more likely to spread gently through self-seeding. Grow to be about 1 foot tall and 1 foot wide.
