    Leptinella potentillina is a broadleaf evergreen perennial groundcover with bronze and green foliage. In fall, spring and summer yellow flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average and well-drained soil.

    Like tiny 2-inch ferns in clumps. Very hardy. May produce tiny golden flowers, thus the name "Brass Buttons." Leaves are 1½-2 inches long x ½ inch wide with fern-like look. We use as LiveScale© ferns in rambling groves on our Garden Railroad. Sun, partial shade, well drained soil. Once established, takes some drought. Phot shows ferns with 2 inch figurine.
