Sempervivum globiferum is an evergreen groundcover cactus / succulent with burgundy and green foliage. In summer pink flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and occasional - low water. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, gritty, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

The foliage offers shades of greens and reds. The flowers are yellow rather than pink as in the Sempervivum.
