Enjoys medium to very wet soils, even boggy conditions, in sun to full shade. Frost hardy in USDA zone 4. Saururaceae
A semi-evergreen, rhizomatous perennial. Thriving in moist to wet soil, or even shallow water. It makes a colourful addition to a pond or as a utilitarian filler under garden taps or other difficult damp sites.
