Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A tough and easily grown perennial, but one that?s pretty enough that it ?should? be difficult!, this wide hummock of graceful, finely-divided foliage produces 1" magenta to pink flowers over a long period. S-PSh/M
Zn 3. Magenta flowers. Long bloomer.
This bright geranium is among the most heat and cold tolerant, and carefree, of garden perennials. Early summer flowering lightens a bit during the hottest part of the season. Then with cooler autumn days, the popping pink flowers return and flower robustly right through fall. A midsummer haircut, trimming spent blooms (the "cranesbills") encourages a later season flush. Low growing, dense, easy care and a garden weaver extraordinaire.

This compact, mound-forming species give a satisfying summer-long display of deep purple-magenta flowers. Smallish, smooth-edged, deeply-divided foliage that turns red in fall.
A slowly spreading, semi-evergreen, rhizomatous perennial. Pure white, saucer shaped, (3cm), flowers are produced for a long period through spring to early summer and again in autumn. The stiff, slender stems clothed in finely dissected dark green leaves will form a dense clump or mix well with other plants, wandering between them.Tough and easy.Cut back hard if looking tired.Excellent!
