Zn 4. Leaves display variable colors in autumn.
E. cantabrigiense (E. alpinum and E. pubigerum) red form~ Lightly serrated, ovate leaves blushed with red then maturing to green topped by clusters of reddish inner sepals with outer orange rims. Plant in partial sun to nearly full shade. Height:10”- 12”. Zones 4-9. Evergreen.
A chance hybrid between alpinum and pubigerum that occurred in Cambridge, the two-tone flowers are comprised of bright red sepals and yellow petals and held on 18" stems well above the foliage. ZONE 4
A shower of tiny peach flowers above medium green leaves. Shade to part shade. About 15" tall. Zones 5-9

Flowers are a lovely orange-red. Leaves are elongated and heart-shaped. The new leaves are reddish bronze in spring, turn to dark green in summer and red in the fall.
