Delphinium Magic Fountains Series is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In summer blue, cream, lavender, pink, purple and white flowers emerge. 24" spikes of deep Delphinium blue, white, rose, lavender, sky blue, and nearly black are held above the foliage in spring. Magic Fountains is a dwarf Pacific selection whose foliage rarely exceeds 12"H and may repeat flower until Fall, especially in cooler summer climates. Grow Delphiniums in full sun and don't disturb the root system when transplanting for best results. Provide a good rich garden soil with good drainage. Delphiniums are often short-lived perennials in northern climate zone 7 and colder and are typically grown as spring annuals in southern regions.
