Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Bright-orange petals around a bright-pink, white-centered eye... couldn?t get much showier!; flowers cover this 1"t x 2'w (eventually) drought-tolerant (drought-loving!) succulent carpeter... amazing! S/M-D/GDr PPAF
Low growing, hardier, ground covering Ice Plant with psychedelic flowers that cover the plants in late spring, flat daisy like rays with concentric circles of color, starting at the outside with bright orange then flamingo pink, converging on the lavender centers. 1-2” tall with a 2’ spread; these are sun worshipers and bask in the heat. Very drought tolerant, great in the rock garden; enjoys well drained sandy or gravelly soil.
This shockingly fabulous colour combination has firey orange petals morphing into hot magenta and then cooling down into icy white punctuated by the yellow stamens all against apple green foliage. Ice plants are long-blooming and carefree succulent mat-forming perennials similar to sedums that thrive in heat, drought and nearly any well-drained soil. Very hardy but should be protected from winter wet either with very well drained soil or in the rainshadow of a house or other structure. Deer resistant.
This shocking color combination of the individual flowers represents a dramatic color breakthrough for the hardy ice plants. The green-apple foliage makes a glistening, fast spreading carpet that keeps its shiny presence through winter. The flowers are massed in spring, but reappear periodically through the summer. This unique cultivar traces its ancestry to the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
Orange, pink & white flower. Green foliage.
