Canary Island uber rarity alert & this one's medicinal! The roots are used in tinctures for respiratory issues, while the juice from its succulenty spoon shaped green leaves has been used to relieve insect bite irritation & clearing up stuffy noses. It's Spanish common name is Vinagrera, referring to its vinegar flavor. Found on all of the Canary Islands growing on rough rocky hillsides, which means it's super tough. Growing to 3' tall & wide multi-branched sprays of white flowers occur in Spring & age to gold then a lovely deep shade of rosiness. There's not a lot of info about growing this guy available, so if you've got more to add to the story we'd love to hear from you.
