    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Bursting with a profusion of cotton candy pink blooms Fall through Spring, this SUPER RARE & showy shrub grows to 3-7' tall & wide. Spiny architectural branches are finely divided, upright & nearly leafless, making a fabulous background canvas. Honey bees go nuts! After the flower fest subsides, multitudes of edible, bright red fruit rich in Vitamin C cover the plant. Native to South Africa, it prefers sandy soils & coastal beachy locales. Perfect partner in drought tolerant crime with Proteas & Ericas. Deer resistant, too!
