Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A shot of juicy orange, just when it's most needed in the bleak of Winter! Coral-orange tinged red blooms rise up 1' above from beautiful broad leaves. Lush and colorful, this bodacious strain was introduced to us by nurseryman Tom Peace. It's early to bloom for L. bulbifera ? January/February for most folks, but here I am writing this in November & some of ours are in full regalia! Quite robust and garden-worthy, a dry Summer rest is important, as is adequately draining soil. Every year Lachenalia will die down at the end of Spring & leave a smattering of offsets for sharing! Growth will return with the Fall rains.
