Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Glorious, deep pink-red, 7" long spidery blooms grace the branch tips of this sultry shrub nearly year-round, attracting hummers & honeybees from near & far. Awesome, long-lasting cut flowers, too! The heaviest bloom time happens Spring through Summer. Beautiful blooms aren't the only thing going for this Grevillea, its dark green, deeply divided soft foliage is pretty, too! To 9.5' high & 6.5' wide, it makes an excellent screen. It's not picky about soil, but a sure fire way to kill this Proteaceae family member is feeding it with a phosphorus fertilizer. It's not a heavy feeder, so a bit o'compost should do the trick. Native to Australia.
