Nursery contributed plant descriptions

We've had this sweet smelling shrub hanging around for a dog's age, but we've lost its proper provenance, so forgive us if we've misidentified it! Fragranced like pine & pineapple, the grey-white leaves of this evergreen shrub make an abiding anchor for the dry border & can even be hedged to good effect. We've never seen it bloom, so enjoy it purely for its fragranced foliage & reliable silver presence. Grows to at least 4'x4', but can be kept a mite smaller with judicious pruning. Ostensibly from Australia, unless someone schools us. Poor soil is just fine & sun is preferred but not required. Our mother plant is toughing it out in almost dry shade!
