Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Warm blooms emerge a lovely dark-copper before aging to shades of sunset oranges. Dark-green thread-leaf foliage makes the perfect backdrop forming a neat clump 18 inches high by 24 inches wide. These are wonderful easy-care bloomers for the pollinator garden or perennial border; drought and deer resistant too. S/M-D
One of my favorite NEW INTRODUCTIONS, this little baby will bloom its little buns off all summer and fall! Unusually colored 8 fringed petals of copper, warm apricot and burnt sienna tones dance around bright yellow centers on mounding plants that are 12-14” tall and 24” wide... Full sun, well-drained soil preferred (but adaptable), drought tolerant when established. Butterfly magnet, repels deer. Easy to grow...nice beginner plant.
Large, burnt sienna or terra cotta coloured flowers lighten to orange as they age. Long blooming. Finely textured foliage. Deadhead to prolong bloom. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
