Halimium atriplicifolium is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with green foliage. In summer yellow flowers emerge. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in lean and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Upright shrub to 6' with muted gray leaves and clusters of rose-like yellow flowers. The flowers are ephemeral but produced in mass from late spring well into summer. Plants require full sun, well-drained soil, and little supplemental water once established. A Mediterranean version of our native Dendromecon hartfordii. Hardy to 10F. Mediterranean Europe.
