Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Grayish-green leaves flushing lilac in the center on this hardy, rosette-forming succulent for the rock wall, outdoor container, hellstrip, or random little nooks and/or crannies. Offsets quickly. Sun to half shade; sharp drainage. Plenty hardy! USDA zone 4.
The rosette is bright green with purple tips.
Introduced by Kevin Vaughn of the US in 1977. This is a small- to medium-sized semp with compact rosettes of muted grayish-green with darker tips, taking on a bluish tinge in the summer. Sturdy, compact plants which offset well. A cross between S. 'Thayne' and an unknown Semp.
