    From French seed planted Canada in the early 1700's this antique and much loved mid-season apple is crisp, aromatic and juicy. Medium sized fruit can be cream with red striping or completely red; used as a dessert or cider apple. This tree is often called the 'snow' apple for its white flesh and its affinity for cold climates and high elevations. Requires another variety for fruit set; 600 chill hours. S/M
