Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A wild new plant from Asia, this 1-2' mounding creeper has small, irregularly lobed leaves which are splashed with flamingo-pink, cream and white making it a find for basket, border, or pond edge. S-PSh/M-W
A tricolor variegated umbellifer, the foliage is green with pink and white variegation and umbels of white flowers, and no the name is not a typo. It is native from Japan to Malaysia and grown as a leafy vegetable. Although books list it as zone 9, Marion Jarvie in Toronto, and Punnett both grow it without protection. Southern gardeners may want to be wary but it seems well behaved in the north and it is a gaudy thing. ZONE 6
Variegated Water Parsley - Rainbow Water Celery - Water Dropwort - A rapidly growing, spreading marginal water plant with colorful serated leaves of cream, green, and pink. Great for pond margins, partially submerged or in the ground if kept moist. Small white carrot flower like umbrels in summer. Grows to 6" tall and likes part shade. Hardy in zone 6. Use as ornamental or cullinary, great to eat in salads or sandwiches or cooked in soups or stuffings. Makes a pretty garnish. Young tunder leaves have the taste of mild celery. Older leaves are spicy.
A dense evergreen ground-covering perennial with pink, green, and cream variegated foliage. The tender spring growth is a relished vegetable in many parts of Asia. Withstands a wide variety of soils and thrives in boggy areas.
