'Santa Claus' is a hardy fuchsia with numerous double, pendulous flowers supporting red recurving sepals and white centres with slight red veining. Very floriferous from summer to frost. Growth habit is a nice clumping upright form 36 inches tall and wide. A number of different Fuchsia are hardy to zone 7 or 8. To increase hardiness bury the base of the shrub 3-4 inches below the surface of the soil as you would a rose. Use at the front of mixed borders, pollinator gardens and containers. Attracts hummingbirds and bees.
