Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the few roses that can tolerate wet feet, the appropriately named Swamp Rose produces fragrant single to semi-double pink flowers on the arching and practically thornless canes in late spring and early summer. The Swamp Rose is native to moist streamsides and swamps of the South and Eastern U.S.
Growing readily in wet or swampy areas, this rose with its 2" pink summer flowers is a nice choice for that difficult site. Sun/Med-Wet
