James Dickerson is a trouble-free Iris that multiplies over time and requires almost no attention from you. Given full sunshine and consistently moist, even wet soil, James Dickerson reaches 2 1/2 feet tall. Its blooms are spectacular for cutflower arrangements, and are also showstopping in the garden. This is a perennial to be planted in great drifts, so that the full range of pink to deep burgundy colors can be displayed. Very rewarding and carefree, it's one Iris every garden deserves. very adaptable to many soils. Hardiness Zone 4 - 10.

Deep burgundy red outer falls are centered with lighter burgundy standards. Beautiful, full, nearly rounded flowers. A vigorous and hardy Louisiana Iris from the 'Fallen Heroes' series hybridized by Leeann Connelly. Multiplies readily in average garden soils, moist to wet soils, or can be set in water gardens where the container is just below the water's surface. Blooms March through May.
