Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Native to S. America (but also noted in Australia: native/naturalized?), this 3-4' EG shrub forms an upright, open-textured crown. Its 2" flowers are pale-pink with a red center and brighten late summer and autumn gardens. S/M
Small, pale pink, dark throated, hibiscus flowers are profusely borne on a mound forming, open shrub bearing small, arrow shaped, dark green, toothed leaves. From central South America and questionably native to the east coast of Australia, it is dependably hardy in any soil with a hint of summer moisture and where it typically self sows. Occasionally encountered flowering and flourishing in gardens of older areas long after the other plants have succumbed to the rigours of summer or time. Cut back hard when necessary and while making active basal growth. Quick and easy.

2" light pink saucer-shaped blooms, with a burgundy eye, are borne from spring to fall. An evergreen woody perennial creating a large arching bush with age. We have found it to easily withstand short periods of 15F and, as of yet, no pests or diseases.
