Malus 'William Sim' is a broadleaf deciduous fruit / vegetable or tree with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge followed by red fruit. Attracts bees, beneficial insects and birds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular water. Does well in average and well-drained soil.
This large-fruited, edible crabapple is in our opinion the best tasting of all the edible crabs, deep-red radish shaped fruit are good for jelly, pickling and fresh eating; pretty pink buds open up to masses of 2" white flowers in spring on this old-time handsome 15-20' tree. S/M
