Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This graceful and vigorous 60-90' tree is one of the most ornamental of all spruces. In spring, it is covered with its male flowers and brilliant red young cones making a spectacularly beautiful sight. Dark, blue-green needles contrast well with the rough grey bark on this wide, conical specimen. This lovely tree is native to the mountains of China and Bhutan and named for the Lijiang mountain range. S/M
