Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The leathery glossy leaves of this uncommon small shrub turn red in fall while its yellow flowers appear in delightful clusters in summer; another treat from China?s mountains to your border or foundation. S/M
A newly introduced evergreen groundcover. This forms a prostrate, slowly spreading mound of shiny, deep green foliage. Very similar to Ribes laurifolium but much smaller and more prostrate. The small clusters of yellow-green flowers in spring are followed by hairy green gooseberries. From my collection in the Sino-Himalaya. Easy in light to deep shade.
An uncommon species collected by Steve Hootman, one of the best plant hunters of the modern era. Steve is the Director at the Rhodendron Species Botanic Garden and he found this in the Chinese Himalaya. Smaller and more prostrate than R. laurifolium. Greenish flowers. Cannot ship to DE, MA, ME, NH, RI, WV.
